Hi, I'm hayden
I am a wedding and family photographer with a love of travel, experiencing different cultures, and a deep affinity with the ocean. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, I refined my creative and visual style while studying photography before capturing my first wedding in London in 2012. My photographic vision and worldview have been greatly influenced by the years I spent living in Tokyo, London, and a small town in southern France, where I randomly learned how to make wine. I now call the Gold Coast home, where a typical day involves shooting weddings & families and spending time at the beach—surfing, swimming, and eating hot chips with my daughter while watching the sun go down. I am also an artist creating minimalist concrete and steel sculptures. I am currently represented by 19 Karen Gallery in Miami on the Gold Coast.

"There’s no logic in the realm of the imagination. It’s more about feelings, emotion and love. You can’t explain why you fell in love with someone because some emotions cannot be described properly. It’s the same for me with photography."
